Question Turbo Upgrade Help!

I have a stock FC3 87 TII and i'm looking at upgrading my turbo to pull even more power...

I found a add for a T04E with a 60-1 compressor in a .70 housing, P trim exhaust with a 1.15 housing. Is this all i need to upgrade my turbo setup? Are there any parts missing? Currently i have the stock IC and a jspec turbo. Is a Front Mount IC a must with this setup or will the stock mount work?

Please help, it may sound like a dumb question but i need to move on this add fast.

You need quite a few other things to make that turbo work. You need a T04 manifold, external wastegate, new DP to mate up to the new turbo, and you will need new water and oil lines for it, as your stock ones won't fit. An easier upgrade to your 87 would be a series 5 turbo (89+ TII). It has a larger wastegate and can push more boost safer than the 87-88's. Best of all, it is bolt in.

go for the to4.
60-1 compressor in a .70 housing, P trim exhaust with a 1.15 housing is SPOT ON!
i'm also installing a to4 and have been told that the stock IC can still be used. however it would be better for power and reliability to go a bigger front mount intercooler.
BUT you MUST install a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, and also componsate these changes with a new tuneable computer or a piggyback computer. i'm not sure on the reliability of a piggyback computer with such a big turbo.
Its worth it

Ya thanks for the help guys, i have everything lined up for the kit except a Wastgate.

Final setup is going to be:

Custom Manifold
To4E Turbo (a T04E with a 60-1 compressor in a .70 housing, the exhaust is a
P trim with a 1.15 housing)
Custom Downpipe
Spearco Intercooler
Blitz BOV

What kind of wastegate would you guys go with? Oppinions on the setup?

Thanks,
Chris
