turbo swap

hey guys i have a couple questions, wut is the stock turbo un the 90 JDM FC's, and wut is the forums favorite turbo to upgrade too? i was thinking of goin with Garrett T3/T4 50 trim or maybe a garrett t3 super 60..... ne other seggestions? in the end i kinda wanna have a stable 500 hp so if and when i upgrade i kinda want somthing to help me get there safely...

stable 500hp eh....? lol!

T04R is 500hp country
Don't expect it to last long though. There are guys which have had them last long(not very very long though) but I doubt you'll get near that number if you even have to ask, then getting it to be reliable is even harder to do.

As for turbo's.
My buddies have ran T04R's T77's and some other one I can't think of(T70?) to get near those numbers.

Also.
JDM and USDM use the same exact engines with minor external differences. The stock turbo for a 90 is a Hitachi and I think it will have a mark on the compressor housing stating HS-2


I've seen a a few T04 B upgrades as well. If I remember that's the compressor side used for the BNR staged upgrades.

I like the GT35R for best spool-up and perforamance.

money isnt an issue, not worried bout that... u got ne more info on the GT35R? specs?
