Turbo swap

Hey guys... I have an 87TII rebuild ported by Atkins Rotary. My turbo is giving me a little trouble, i think an oil seal is gone or something. Anyways, I was wondering if i was to do a turbo swap, what would be a good car to get a turbo from?

Thanks

Aaron

hehe, better say 89-91. I can just see him trying to fit some twins on there

nothing else will fit unless you want to make a custom manifold. but then you'll also need new oil and water lines, and a custom down pipe... check out the for sale section or ebay. I see turbos all the time.

oh and if you get the 89-91 turbo you need the exhaust manifold as well to make it fit. it's a good upgrade from the 87-88 turbo.

yeah go with the 89 up turbo. youll still need a different manifold, the 89 manifold is different than the 87, but its a straight swap. using a turbine from another manufacturer is a lot of trouble.

Thats cool... how hard do you think it would be for me to put the exhaust manifold on myself?
