Under what circumstances does the car smoke? Under boost? Under decel? At idle?

If the car smokes like crazy under boost, then it's the turbo.

Under decel normally indicates worn oil o-rings.

Sonds like oil control rings to me. The engine pulls strong vacuum when returning to idle which sucks oil past the o-rings. Pull your sparkplugs and check to see if they are oily and black.

Yeah. You can try a thicker oil though. If you are running 10W 30, then go to 20W 50.
