so like the title says, i'm getting about $1,500 by the end of august. i have an NA FC no modes 'cept for suspension (springs and shocks) i just don't know what else to get...performance-wise and it could be functional cosmetic add-ons or basically just anyone's opinion...let me know! it would be appreciated. oh yeah the car runs well. no engine problems and stufff like that. its a daily driver.

any maintenance you've neglected to do so far

after that, whatever the hell you want. don't feel like you absolutely must mod it if you're perfectly happy with the way it is

If it were me, I'd start with the 60k tune up.

^^ maintenance is a must. id replace all fluids. then replace the exhaust with something custom or order from Racing Beat. that will be the best for a DD imo. after that, do whatever you think you left out. go get an e-fan to clean up that engine bay.

hmmm full RB exhaust i have been researching on. it cost about 600+ for just the cat-back system. i would want to go all out with the header to the exhaust set up but i just don't know if there is a cheaper deal elsewhere or there is a better set up? other than racing beat? when i added the parts up they added up to 1000 or so i don't really have a problem with this just want to make sure that i'm being a smart buyer haha...and for the intake? how do you do that set up when you take out the airbox im completely noob about it. like the details with the MAF set up etc.

cheaper is not always better with exhaust. RB is reasonably priced. did you get your engine ported when rebuilt? that'd be being a smart buyer.. haha

RB was the quietest exhaust I could find...still not exactly quiet but less intrusive then any other I've heard. And the build quality is always good with those guys.

How about a set of rims and tires? IMO, a sticky set of tires is the BEST bang for the buck mod you can buy, and a nice set of 17x 8.5's sure would look nice under those fenders. I'll bet Rishie could set you up nicely.

hahaah yeah cheap is never a good way to go....im definitely considering the full RB exhaust...and for the rims? don't 17 seem to big? since i don't have any lip kit or side skirts? orrr. im kinda scared that the big wheels will dominate the look of the car....im kinda considering 16? but if 17 is great then why not...

also was the RB exhuast loud only on high revs or even in standard revs?

I think if you are going to upgrade the wheels, you should go with 17s. 17s seem to be the perfect size for these cars although some 18s seem to look OK as well. You just need to pay close attention to the weight of the wheels. You dont want to go to heavy since your NA.

well unless you have alot more than $1500 to work with...you're not going to have a fast car...so i'd spend it on a good set of rims and tires....and enjoy the car like it is and just fix every "little" problem the car may have such as broken vents, switches that aren't working, etc....then when you want to get a faster car...you'll have a good car to sell and should pull a decent price...then put that towards a good shape TII.

Buy a EMS that would be the most bang for your buck. That way when you get tired of NA and want to turbo you can still use instead of buying a new one. Ive heard nothing but good things about haltech. Do your car a favor a replace that 20 year old wiring harness.

I asked myself the same question a month ago. I got RB swaybars front and back, drop end links for all 4 corners, DTSS eliminators, Camber rod, Mazdatrix front strut bar(The one that ties into the firewall and has an engine dampner) and Mazdatrix rear strut bar. It only came out to a little over 1k. Then you can still spend the extra money on something else.
