turbo removal ??

turbo removal ??

if i remove the turbo from the manifold so that i can port the wastegate "10th ae" will i need a new gasket ...also what should i look for when i take it off and apart..and maybe how hard would it be to rebuild it since i have it off and does someone sell a rebuild kit...thanks for your help kinda new to the turbo 7 world..any input would help

All new gaskets and copper crush rings would be a very good idea.

As for rebuilding it, have a read of this:

It's not that hard, but you have to have the right tools. I currently have an S5 turbo in pieces and a rebuild kit, but can't find circlip pliers small enough. I was going to get the rotating assembly balance checked (not strictly necessary if you're got changing any parts) so I might just pay them to reassemble the centre while they're at it rather than buying a tool I'll rarely ever use.

thanks.do you kno of anybody i could send the turbo to to be rebuilt cause i work alot and dont really have that much time
