poped off connector

This week I have removed the ACV and Airpump and installed the appropriate blockoff plates.
I also installed my FD alternator with dual row pulley. Now yesterday I took the car out for a cruise. At one point on my cruise I did engage in a little spirited driving. At the end of this I exited the expressway.
When I stepped on the clutch downshifted and let out the clutch the car started bucking and would not idle. Long story short, I thought I might have popped an apex seal. After a brief inspection I found thr rubber hose between the turbo and intercooler popped off. What would cause this hose to pop off. Is it related to my removal of the ACV and air pump?
