turbo rebuild options?

What are some options to have a turbo rebuilt. Im new to the forced induction world, or going to be. And im planning on buying a stock t2 turbo for cheap and having it rebuilt (if thats a good idea) and i was wonder what my options were. and how much a turbo rebuild would cost.

Those are hybrids, though, not just a rebuild. Rebuild at a local turbo shop should be a lot less, no clue on the price, though.

ok lets say you disassemble a turbo. do you need any gaskets or anything before you put it back together?

I was thinking about rebuilding my turbo and someone suggested this place to me... http://www.majesticturbo.com/

Someone got it rebuilt for $350 and is happy with it but someone also mentioned that the service was some good some bad.

I had one rebuilt by Majestic a couple of years ago. Works plenty good fine. Just a series four rebuild. I'm fixing to have a series five rebuilt this week sometime depending when I get the energy to get up and take it to them. Maybe a little upgrade on this one. Not too much, not too little, just right. Money? Got me.
