Turbo rebuild failed.. What eBay turbo will bolt on without many mods?

Not going to go through the hassle of having it sent out to get rebuilt or do it again. So I am in search of a replacement that will bolt on to the factory exhaust manifold (and perhaps the factory downpipe) with an internal wastegate.

Would something like this work?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/T3-T4-Intern...d3cb53&vxp=mtr

or:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/GSP-T3-INTER...479b45&vxp=mtr

Help me out a bit please.

Thanks.

The flanges of the original manifold aren't some kind of standard flanges. You won't find any Turbo that works with the original manifold but the original turbo.

This!

For a few dollars more than those absolute crap ebay turbos you can have a reliable turbo making more power that bolts right up.

Or buy a $90 rebuild kit from gopopshop and rebuild the thing. It really isn't that difficult.

I did buy a rebuild kit from gopopshop with the 360 degree thrust bearing. $143 shipped. only took about an hour including cleaning to rebuild it. However its drinking oil at about a quart per five minutes.

Eek. Busted seal or mis-installed?

The only thing I can think of is the piston ring didn't seat when it clicked in when I re-installed the exhaust wheel.

I'd say that's worth tearing apart and finding out before dropping 380 bucks on another turbo.
