turbo questions (long post)

Have a 87 TII, mostly stock other than free mods (emission, omp, tb etc.). I just got the car. I have a TO4 (A\R .60 exhaust is .84) laying around so I decided to build manifold to run the TO4, mainly to go too an external wastegate because I HATE BOOST CREEP! I plan to run low boost until get fuel situated, wb, etc. Trying to keep things very safe. I am also doing 3" turbo back exhaust with a rb muffler (the chamber muffler before the Y pipe out of a junkyard RB cat back) and a turn down at the rear, TID, real BOV, and front mount in the near future. I want to run this turbo because it is free and I don't want to have to do crazy porting and modifications to the stock turbo to still have boost creep. How well will this turbo do? What RPM will it spool? etc. ?
Also when removing omp I had to pull the secondary injectors and the cap broke off the end of the injector and I think the pd is leaking and a primary injector was leaking so I figure it is a good time to invest in the fuel system. I don't want to buy stock injectors and the safc is easiest way (that I know of) to run larger injectors. What are the largest injectors i can run with the safc? Is there a better option than the safc on the low budget side. Standalone can come later (maybe after I get my raise). Suggestions on a rising rate fpr? Will I still need the pd with an aftermarket fpr? What fuel rail options do I have?
All advice is greatly apreciated.

bumps aren't allowed in this section big fella - they'll scorn ya for that.......

As far as when that turbo will spool goes I'd need more info but with a .84 hot side I would imagine she should spool failry early....but there are a number of other factors to wiegh in on that. As well you have to realize that the turbo starts to "spool" from probably 2K....but it won't be building real boost until later.

As far as fuel systems go you need to do some reading - go to www.fc3spro.com and read Ted's section on fuel systems

t04 means nothing those turbos run the range from 250-500hp easy. everyones setup going to performa bit diffrent. a t04B with .84 is going to spool alot faster than a t04R.
and no bumps in tech section (as a heads up)

RTek 2.0 might do the job nicely and for reasonable price

Which turbine wheel do you have in your To4?
I believe the largest injectors you can run properly with an S-afc are 720cc secondaries, but don't quote me.
I would suggest an Rtek if you are on a budget.
You won't need the PD if you get an aftermarket FPR.
injector.com sells drop in fuel injectors

Thanks for the reply. I have been doing some research and am very close to getting a rtek 2.0. It is either that or full standalone.

SAFC will pretty much turn down whatever you put it to, TO A POINT. It can only do percentages.

If you want my opinion, SAFCs are junk. Dont know much about the RTek because I run a Haltech, but from what I have heard, people are using them with much success.
