turbo questions.

gday. im putting my car back together after emissions removal and wastegate porting. my first question is the coolant feed comes from the intake manifold? how does the coolant get there? i have removed all my manifold bolt ons. my next question is there any advantage to removing the twin scroll? i have 2.5 inch exhast. pod filter. throttle body mod and 8psi of boost. the car is a 1988 s4 turbo jap import

The coolant travels through the intake manifold, there is a port that goes straight through. You will get a little more flow through the turbo if you remove the twin scroll and maybe slightly higher boost, but a slightly lower spool up time.
