turbo net

Anybody here using this (turbo net) instead of cone filter?? Any comment on this item??

I am thinking of getting one, but i want to hear some input about this product.

You still need to put a filter on too. I think this would be to keep things from being sucked in on high psi applications.

A filter, filters out particle that are too small to see. Dust and dirt particles.

If you just run only the screen, you will be damaging you motor, and your turbo.

Well at least it will keep the stray cats and little kids from the neighborhood getting sucked into the turbo. that's pretty messy. But seriously, I guess you could use it at the drag strip or the race track.

I would not use it because I like to protect my investment. But if you wanted to why not just get a mesh screen and a clamp for a few bucks from homedepot.

That type of thing is for use at the strip only. Its just the same as running an open turbo, its not going to catch any small particles.
