Turbo NA 13b 6 port dimensions

Can someone who has turbo'd their 6 port NA do me a favour and measure out how far the turbo comes with the manifold spacer? i have a feeling im going to have some clearance issues....

you talking about the exhaust manifold spacer???

what do think will not fit??

do you still have the ACV??

it will never fit with the ACV on...

even the bolts for the block off plate is soooo close!!

but mine fit OK..

i mean the total dimension of turbo and spacer from the block.....I have no ACV and i want to turbo the NA.....

However the engine is no longer in an RX so i may have issue with the clearance to the chassis member of the car its in....

The easy way is to measure the turbo from the farthest point out (wastegate actuator I believe) to the flat surface of the manifold where it meets the engine. Then add 2.5" for the spacer.

I can tell you that in a stock RX-7 the wastegate actuator interferes with the frame rail by about an inch.

If you can build a spacer, you can build a manifold that moves the turbo up and out.

ah cool....any chance i can get you to do a quick measurement for me? I dont have any parts to hand, i just wanna know if its viable!
