Turbo II Throttle Body Removal...?

I'm trying to remove the throttle body right now, but I'm not sure specifically where the bolts are that connect it to the intake manifold. I've taken off two nuts so far and there is that nice annoying bracket in front of it. How many bolts are there and what else do I need to take this off? I want to pull this sucker off today, do the throttle body mod, and have it running by tomarrow . I finally got my pilot bearing puller, so my new 6-puck is going in, and I'm mounting the tranny back up! Thanks a million... lata,

-Brian

There are 4 nuts that hold it on the upper intake, as far as i know theres no way to get the other 2 nuts on the bottom off i think its alot easyer to unbolt the 3 bolts and 2 nuts that hold the upper intake on and take the the upper intake off with the TB. Also it will make it easyer getting the coolent hose on the bottom of the TB off.

Thanks for the reply. Question: Are you referring to the N/A or do you have experience with TIIs? Just checkin, because they are different setups. In my manual it says just unbolt the mounting nuts, and remove the throttle body. It mentions nothing about removing the UIM. Thanks,

You don't have to take off the upper intake manifold.. But it is a lot easyer..

Taking the UIM off would be less work than taking the intercooler bracket off. I did a lot of work to my TII this week and the UIM stayed off for about 3 days
