Alright, I know that people will probably think that I am insane here or somthing along those lines, but what I am looking for is a CF TII-type hood for my N/A, but with the hole for the TMIC in the Turbo blocked and put a remote snorkle off under the hood to the left of the engine compartment and duct all the air to that to make a ram air induction system for my cold air box that I want to build. I think that if we got that, we would have Function over form, and a good look for the N/A's to boot. That would be my dream hood, and I would gladly pay $6-700 for a high quality model of this hood in CF. I don't know what anyone else here thinks, but I would love to have that. Just a thought to get the N/A crowd interested.

I don't know if anyone else is interested in that or not, but it's the only hood I would buy. Other than that, I am just getting the scoop and having it mounted and glassed in myself.
Hmm.. I guess it would help if my sig showed up. Let's try this again.

You would need to sell the hoods at $200 to $300 to see anything but mediocre to poor sales.

I have given up on making custom parts for the FC. I built exhausts, I built block off plates, I built custom logicons... all flopped miserably.

I built a single outlet cat back exhaust tuned specifically for a non turbo (had on average a 6-8 HP increase, better than anyone else for a non true duals exhaust) was planning on selling it for around $250 ($50 cheaper than even the famed Corksport), all polished stainless steel but couldn't get even 5 people to commit to plunk down the money for one. Not even plunk the money, just commit that they would buy it.

Or EGR block off plates, I build 7mm thick block off plates, they cost me $5 just to make between time and materials... do I sell even one??? NOPE they are on eBay starting at .50 right now. The only thing good about it is that my tax guy loves that my company is taking a loss on them.

Custom parts for the FC are a waste of time and money. Everyone says they want them, but then when it comes down to plunking the money down suddenly nobody has cash.

So unless you are willing to sell your hoods for under $300 (and probably under $200) don't bother to even waste your time.

Well I paid 549 for my hood in june + the 140 dollar shipping charge. I ordered mine from fc3s.org. When u see a hood get run over by a truck, and not have a scratch on it, thats good enough proof for me thats its quality.
