Turbo II flywheels

Arrow Turbo II flywheels

alright i recently did a turbo II drivetrain swap on my s5 n/a. now i think i got a s4 turbo II flyhweel and i heard something about counter weights and such. would my car run any different if i used a s4 flywheel instead of a s5 . i also noticed on my car my trany in the morning gets inda hard to shift but once warmed up it dose fine. anyone have any imput on what i could check .

It will be very bad to use the wrong series flywheel, you will have horrific vibrations and if you drive it long enough you can pop a seal. You need the flywheel to match the rotating assembly. (rotors and front counterweight)

Check your oil level and cleanlyness, if its cold in the morning its just warm up time.

would it cause anything in my pedal to be off. its weird how my clutch pedal is grabing . its soft as well half way to the top . im hoping if my motor takes a dump i can just get a turbo II s5 motor. but i want to resolve all issuese now.

Hard to shift as in hard to get into gear? The gear oil takes a little while to warm up and is thick when cold. Consider changing the transmission oil to a 75W90 or 80W90 full synthetic. I found it helped with my car, because the lower first number means that the oil is less thick when cold and synthetics are typically a little lighter.

You can play around with your pedal, look at an FSM or a haynes for the adjustment points.

we ajusted it the pedal. i guss im just going to try to get a s5 turbo II flywheel and a new clutch and go from there . i want my car to run right cause i love driving it. this clutch i have in now is slipping kinda of already any way so i guss it couldnt be to bad of a idea and then i can try syn. oil in the trany.
