im wanting to switch my SE drive train with my Turbo II's... im going to do a rear end swap, swaping all brakes and suspension as well...
what im worried about is i'm wanting to use the T2 tranny, but what happens when i swap them out? which clutch will i use? the T2 or the SE????

To use the TII tranny you'll need to use the TII clutch and flywheel from the same series as your car and also the starter as well.Since you said you car is an SE I would guess it's a Series4(86-88) so you'll need parts from that year.If you TII is within those years your all set.

If you have a TII parts car, swap the entire thing.

im not wanting the TII tranny, my SE trans has around 80k miles on it, the TII's has 150k... not sure what i should do at this point, but will the turbo2 tranny/clutch/flywheel, etc.. bolt up to N/A engine without any problems?

if i remember from all my swaps the lengths of the pinion shafts on the rear ends differ from N/A and Turbo so you are kinda stuck using a full drive-line from the turbo. at least thats the easiest/cheapest way. especially if you have the parts.

Er, it'll be a hell of a lot simpler using the TII transmission, starter, full rear end. Then trying to mix and match the two. Is the SE stock? Unless you're adding big numbers you're just adding weight.
