Is the price reasonalbe??, condition? whos going to drive it, race it? Are you going to inherit it??
If its all good, go for it. You know the value of an rx7 now a days. I just blew my motor. It may or may not happen to your gramma, if shes overboosting.

160k on the original motor? you might as well peg on another 2 g's to that price, cause you're gonna need it for a rebuild soon after you buy it. a motor is a motor...who cares if its original or not. personally, id wait and keep looking for a better deal...it'll pay off.

It looks like it has new seats and a new shifter boot. New wheels and tires are always a big plus, but I wish he would have put put the directional wheels on correctly, LOL. Anyway, it looks pretty nice, but like kepOne wrote, plan on $2K for an engine rebuild within the next 12 months or less. Also be sure to have some extra cash set aside for little things which may pop up, such as wheel bearings, exhaust, window seals, shifter bushings, clutch slave cylinder, brake pads, etc.

Judging from the pictures and description, it's worth $2,500 - 2,700.

ya i know, I think that sounds funny. He said it drives like like it just rolled off the lot. I saw some stat that 95% of 7's over 125k have rebuild. The fact that he said that makes me hesitant. I wrecked my 87 n/a and i have the motor undamaged from it i could trow in.
