Turbo hoods

I am having a hell of a time trying to find a site that has a turbo hood brand new NOT used,so if anyone has a good site for me to look at please let me know. Also I am pretty sure a turbo hood will fit on a non turbo rx-7 but just in case if anyone know for sure it doesn't or does work let me know please.

thank you fellow rx-7 owners

That may be something you will have to get through Mazda, and be prepaired to spend about $1000 with the scoop insert.

Like my to be as mint as I can make it. a used hood would cost less yes i do know that but how mint can i get one for. i like to get new one because it would be less work to paint it. if you know what mean. used could come with rust, out paint, dents, and so on. new would save me in the long run.

I jst bought a TII hood for $250, that is in better shape than my damn near perfect n/a hood! Look around! Used is not always bad. Plus, after buying ther hood, painting it, and slapping it on your car, it will still be cheaper than $1000!

If you get lucky like I do, I found one in a redneck junkyard for $20. It was even off my old red TII

working on airplanes as long as i did i can tell ya, aluminum rusts. Corrosion is a big problem with exposed aluminum.

Hey FYI

If you use the Aluminum T2 hood make sure you get the hinges for the Aluminum hoods as well or the hood or hinge will corrode out.
