Turbo Headers For S4 FC

Does anyone make them? Can anyone link me to them? I want some headers for my Turbo2 S4 FC3S and was wondering if anyone made them and where I can buy them from and a link would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Most call them a "turbo exhaust manifold".

Which is a good manufacturer of the headers, or the "turbo exhaust manifolds"?

On second thought, what's a good aftermarket turbocharger for my FC (S4 T2) for about 400RWHP?

i had a recent thread about this yesterday and after doing some research and talking with RETed I've found out that the stock manifold after porting it (porting directions are in the archives... i think) I'm actually in the same boat, but i have larger goals in mind. i was looking for a tube type manifold for a higher flow interum between stock and my multi-thousand dallar turbo setup.

the stock turbo is the only major restriction point in the exhaust system until you get to the stock cat. the flow charactoristics of the stock manifold are just fine for the stock turbo.

so, all in all it's not worth it to upgrade the manifold. as for a N/A car, is you do get bigger headers then you will get better flow.

hope that helps a bit,
TTR

you may want to start doing some research into the turbo section of the forum. you'll find that there is a tradeoff for Power vs. Lag. the more power you want, the bigger the turbo will need to be. however it takes more force to spin that larger turbo to it takes longer to spool up ie LAG. with a larger turbo the power comes in later in the rpm band. i'm only looking to make 300 - 350 bhp but i want my turbo to spool as soon as possible without choking the engine at high rpm.

choking the engine means that the turbo and wastegate combo are retricting exhaust pressure from escaping and keeping hot presurized exhaust in the engine... detonation.

i am by no means a turbo expert but 400whp is definitely possible with these cars but will probably cost close to 3,000 - 5,000 dollars for a goos setup.

you can look at a full turbo setup from a suplier such as NOPI or whomever you would like.

ok I think that's about it,

Well, I was going to upgrade the turbo anyway, so if I were to upgrade the turbo, what would be a good turbo for about 400RWHP for a good price?

What about the T04E? Will that do the trick of about 400-430RWHP?

Lol, should I make another thread? I wanted to get a good turbo manifold but I want a good turbocharger to go with it. Would a T04E yield me about 400-430RWHP?

I want to decide on a turbocharger first, so then I can get all the right parts to support that specific turbocharger.

the T04E would be a bit low for your goals, T04S, GT35R, AF61R....
