I had planned on doing a turbo swap on my 1988 gxl but it seems that will have to be put on hold for a while. I posted a thread a while ago asking about putting a turbo on an N/A, I need to know what i would have to do to get the transmission to handle the turbo, or should I just do suspension and put on an intake and exhaust and leave it at that? Thanks!

 

Get the tranny and rear end from a Turbo car.
Also, you don know that theres a lot of custom work involved in swapping on a turbo, right? If it were be I would just keep it NA and build up the suspention until I had enough money for a proper turbo swap.

 

Thanks, also if anyone knows about the Tanabe super medalion exhaust and how much it would help the engine could you let me know.
