I'm suspect that my current turbo is about to go bust, and so along with some other upgrades I'm making a plan for a new turbo and other goodies. My question is, what turbo should to get? Main goal is better low end power, and it would be nice if it was a ball bearing turbo.

 

If you want ball bearing, it's hard to go wrong with the GT30. You'll never make more then 300HP, but the thing will spool instantly.

 

i know a guy that got a turbo specifically to spool quick for hillclimbing and it is a gt4 to t3 and it spools quick and is a very mean rx7 with it

 

Lowend power + rotary don't often go together... haha

The stock turbo is a close second.

For quick spool up, dump the exhaust right after the turbine.
