Turbo engine and ECU
I got a question:
Swaping a turbo engine into a non-turbo car does the wiring harness have to be changed and the ECU
that would be goin into a 88 convertible a turbo II
88 engine.
thanks for the input

do a search.... it has been covered many times. Im almost positive the ecu has to be changed bc you need the new fuel bc of the turbo. I have an s4 TII ECU for sale if you are interested.

In a proper TII conversion, there is a lot that needs to be changed. You NEED to change the transmission. Depending on how you drive, you can use an automatic drive shaft to mount to the rear differential. If you plan on driving it hard, youll need to change out the rear differential or have a custom drive shaft made so that it will mount right. You do need to change the wiring harness as well as the ECU....
