Question turbo core vs. na core?

I know this probably sounds like a really dumb question, but I've never seen any info on it and my dad insists I ask this. Is there a big difference between the core on a turbo and the core on an n/a? Could you swap just the cores?

The only thing between them that's the same is the eccentric shaft, and the seals (apex, side, o-ring, etc.).
