Turbo coolant return

Can the nipple on the water pump housing be used for coolant return from the turbo? I have a s4 T2 with a NA s4 water pump housing. My only concern is the hose outlet will sit higher than the turbo possibly leaving coolant sitting in the turbo. I'm running a standalone haltech so I was going to cap off that nipple anyways.

Coolant is under pressure and unless you've trapped an air bubble will flow so long as you're inlet is upstream and your outlet is downstream you should be good to go.

Just to be sure the nipple on the rear of the water pump housing is a water return?
