Turbo Conversion or 300zx Twin

I know I might get flamed for this, but my n/a just seems too slow. I can get the parts to do the turbo swap, with all the mods I do afterwards Id be pushing 260 hp. Would it make more sense to buy a faster car like the nissan 300zx which I can get for about 4k or spend more money on making the turbo faster? I mean I love my car but Ive noticed I spend so much money on just keeping the thing running. Thanks

Just think of it this way.......w/ the 300zx you will have to buy 2 of everything if its a twin turbo. Just a thought to keep in mind. The 300zx is also a bit more heavier than the FC

i did a small bit of research and found a few probs with the 300zx i didnt want to deal with. mainly underhood temps frying some of the electronics. how prominent this was, i do not know. thats strange that you can get a 300ZX TT for $4000 (you just said 300ZX, but the title says Twin). they usually run more. they also weigh in the mid 3000s i believe. they are sexy cars, but i'd imagine would be closer to a money pit than an FC. besides, you can get a bit of power from a T2 engine/setup. after layin down a few more Gs you can be runnin 11s with high 300hp-400hp range. what a 300ZX TT (normally) costs to buy, you could be runnin 12s or 11s.
the 300ZX, even when slower, will still get you more ***.

if your thinking about getting a 300zx why not just buy a t2 you can buy a fairly modded t2 for 4k or so if you look in the right places or you can do a t2 swap like you said either one of those options i would do plus my friend owns a 300zx and from bein in his i like my t2 alot more then his

turbo Zs are nice, and they'll get you more tail. I've always been a Nissan fan, but I mean, looking for a Z for around 4K you'll probably end up with something that's been abused.
