Hi all, just a question for you that have taken the stock turbo apart befor. How do you remove the center section from the exhaust housing. There are to bolts that I can't get out all of the way because they hit the center section where the oil goes into it. Any help would be cool. Thanks

 

Hit the turbine housing with a hammer to dislodge the bearing housing, then turn it to get the last two bolts out.

 

OR: take off all the turbine housings bolts so that the only ones left are the two below the flanges. Then turn those about 5 times and alternate, it will force the housing off

 

Thanks, I hit it with a hammer and then spun it to get to the other two bolts. It worked great.

 

Or, it will strip the threads in the tubine housing and you'll be fucked.

 

my turbine housing was already fucked ...but yeah, your way is 100% better
