turbo accessories and the best setup... your opinions

i have an 86 that ive basically converted the appearance to an s5, my car keeps flooding so i said the hell with it and found a ragged out beat up shot up T2 with complete unmolested drivetrain with a bown motor. im going to pick it up tonight and have already saved up quite a bit for this swap. its gong to be rebuilt + ported... im planning on keeping the 720 primarys with 1000 cc secondaries, fuel pressure regulator, aftermarket fuel rails, gen 3 upper intake, front mount intercooler, (in the later future) a little bit bigger turbo but not to big, a turbo timer, the MAP-ECU from corksport thats gets rid of the afm, msd unit for the leading coil, throttle body mod, and as far as computer im thinking of either using the corksport reworked stock computers that take car of larger injectors and such or going with a piggy back, stand alone or whatever. im looking for alot of power... but streetable power... somewhere around the 300 to 350 hp range, i dont want to get over kill and go above 350. and i want a good solid setup that i can drive daily but get on it everyonce in a while (more like every weeked) and not hurt anything. if you have a built T2 or have good knowledge of turbo setups tell me in your own opinions what you think the best setup would be.... im more go than sho but i do like things to look good. anything left out that i need?

If it's going to be a daily, instead of HP figures you should make a hard decision now what you want to do. Either:

1) max stock setup with Stage III upgrades - stock Turbo II UIM & Throttle body, stock ECU with fuel computer, turbo wheel trim & size upgrades, aftermarket BOV, HMIC, FMIC, etc... or

2) build it right for high power - Full stand alone, High compression NA rotors (better throttle responce), ignition, larger turbo with quick spool/low trim, upgraded fuel pump, strenghtened internals/seals, etc...

It comes down to cost, the first option will be more reliable & cheaper but the stock turbo won't support "ULTRA HIGH BOOST" modes on the fuel computer. The 2nd option is the correct start for building a reliable high output, and the high compression rotors will give you better throttle responce & a more streetable setup.
