Icemark, I was about to say that too. The welds don't look that secure, and I don't like how the arms extend far beyond the base where it meets the frame. Looks very unsafe.

But then again, I haven't seen one in use, and I cannot say anymore.

lol. yea. The mounts do look very questionable and I cant find any info of people who actually tried them. Oh, well. I still got mounts for the Cosmo. :>D

Because the entire weight of the engine is supported by one wall of the body mount cup. There's no reinforcement or gusseting anywhere, the penetration of the welds looks questionable and the through holes for the engine side of the mount bolts are way too thin.

What do I win?

Close...but no cigar.

Examine all the stock engine mounts...
They are designed to take weight vertically.

Look at those mounts...
The weight is loaded sideways...which twists.
It's a bad design.

I was just posting the mounts existance. That was all .

Also they are pretty new, so you won't find any info on them.

That design has been around for a while.
It's just that someone finally got the ***** to try and sell them.
I knew one guy who had them made way back in 1995 - 1996.
