Hey guys, I am buying a 87 tii for 400 dollars. Body is straight, interior is clean. It has 70 thousand miles on it.. The owner put it up 7 years ago becasue he bought his son a new car.. He hasnt started it since.. It ran when he put it up though.. What do I need to do to get it started again? Its been sitting forever.. let me know

sounds like a good deal even if it doesnt run id get it. it needs new gas i bet, new plugs maybe squirt a lil oil in each plug hole, put a battery in and see what it does

 

Yeah, I got mine for $500 and its back on the road. Took a buffer to it and it shines right up as well.

Yeah, just search around for tips and tricks to starting a sitting engine but even if the engine is shot it is still worth it for the money.
