Cool Turbo 2 Looking for more power upgrades

Hello everyone just looking for some input on things I could possibly do make my Turbo 2 quicker...Check out my SIG..for my mods. Right now im running 7.5psi and im planning to run 15psi soon enough once i get this Boost controller from a friend. Now should i be worried about timing once i start cranking up boost? Im running a stock ECU and so far my AFR are at 11.2 to high as 12.0 at end of 7k. Also would running to 8k safe at all? My turbos hotside A/R is 1.15 so i dont see full boost until 4500 but once it hits i go through my power band quickly and doesnt feel fast at all until im in higher gear like 4th. I have my eye on either doing water injection or running a C02 intercooler sprayer on the FMIC any pros and con to this? I did my tuning all by myself with the aid of my trusty wideband and lots of WOT action hehehe on the freeway.....Total spent so far on my project with car is just shy over $2,000...which sure beats the hell out of my 350z hehehe...

Got some pics too enjoy.....

IMHO you need to go full stand alone computer that will be the best bang for the buck. Speaking of which is there a 0 missing in your spending estimate or are you a thief?

nice cupholders

do they work good?

but standalone ftw and a good tuner

that will proboboly triple what you've spent on the car but it will be worth it by far

you should get a lip for the front. They are functional and you are losing airflow through the FMIC and radiator because of not having one.

How about you ditch that stock ecu/safc, and get some sort of standalone.

Then since you seem to have the supporting mods, go with a hybrid turbo.

EDIT: I see you also have the stock throttle body adapter, get yourself a nice greddy one or i think Higgi sells them also. They both run about $100 bucks.

Well tell yah the truth i dont want to do stand alone just yet....Im trying to get the most out of my piggy back fuel controller until i hit a wall I just wont upgrade... I have plenty of room to add more fuel if i need be... I have access to a dyno dynamics here and plan on fine tuning it once i get my boost controller on... I did have cooling issues once i put the FMIC but i used foam around the radiator and what not and since changed my belt and now my temps are cooler than ever.... and yes i am running a Borg Warner T04B which i bought for a bargain brand new....hehe yah I used to have a narrow band A/F in there and Voltage gauge but I ditched those and havent found a Glove box to replace it yet...

How about a two belt pulley for the alt/water pump. I have never ran a rotary without one. If you have one and i'm too blind to see it flame on....

It was a question designed to ask how he got his parts so cheap not an actual accusation. Once again comedy is lost on most people here. Did you read his FULL list of mods many of which were $500 + for the parts, and many are not related to HP and the price INCLUDED THE CAR.

As far as "hitting a wall" the wall you may hit may be the engine destroying itself.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing... When you say "push it until I hit a wall", really means "push it until you blow the motor".

Either way I've got a couple suggestions. First, add a little more fuel in the upper RPM's, so that you get consistent low-11's at WOT. Second, upgrade your fuel-pump to a Walbro or something. There's no way the FD pump is going to be able to keep up when you turn up the boost. Third, if you're dead-set on going with piggy-back controllers, upgrade to an R-Tek 1.7 or 2.0 to help with timing control. Fourth, go with water-injection.

Heh well so far i havent messed my engine up "cross my fingers" Im aware of upping my fuel up top but it seems to suffer top end power once the car dips really low...Right now how I have my car tuned it runs just like stock but sometimes i get a little hesitation when the injectors kick on but nothing extreme.....The whole reason for my car is to have fun I bought it for only 400 bucks and made quite a bit of cash just by selling the aftermarket stuff already on it...Racing beat exhaust, 17in wheels etc.... This is a budget project car and I plan to keep it like that.. If something were to happen at least i know im not in the hole a bunch of money....Other wise thanks for the advice so far....
