I'd say there are also a bunch of grounding issues. . I had that problem when I bought my T2. Redo the injector ground, and the fire wall to bell housing ground and I bet it will help. Also, I'd get your injectors cleaned

Had the same problem with the Turbo II I just bought..
Here is the link to the original thread:

...We striped it done to the block and re-did the grounds grounded the injectors replaced the secondarys with some recently cleaned units and dropped ion a FD fuel pump, new fuel filter and new plugs.
While it was all apart we also installed all the block off plates, did the throttle body mod and ported the waste gate.

Kinda overkill to fix the hesitation but it would be stupid not to clean up and simplify everything while it is apart. Basically we simplified to eliminate as many variables as we could.

I should know more tonight after we install some new lower intake manifold coolant O rings and fire it up.

its best to have the professionally cleaned and flowed that way you can rule them out entirely - plus it never hurts.

it may be grounding issues as well, but to me it sounds like fuel given the bucking and the fact that you seem to be having issues near the point where the secondaries would kick in

so i drained all the gas and got it running and now it boosts 5 lbs and kinda hesitates and sputters under boost but runs ten time better but need to clean injectors and figure out how to eliminate the afm with out a standalone and im redoing the grounds tommorrow and hopefully can get better results and one more thing how many pounds is stock boost and can you squeeze more out of the stock wastegate without porting it maybe longer vacuum line from wastegate maybe ????? let me know plz and thx for all the insights

Im not going to tell you its impossible because you *may* somehow, someway be able to make it happen.

But I have tried and tried and tried and I ended up relocating mine to the I/C piping, since I really only needed to move it to save space - that worked. I am only using an Emanage blue - with the Ultimate you may be able to, but really thats just a couple slices below standalone - not to mention nearly as much.
