Hey man I am from Maine too. I live in Bethel. Right next to sunday river ski resort. Um I am not to sure if I can help you with your car but I can always try. The service manuel is good and just for referense get the Haynes one. Ummm You can reach me pretty easily. I work from 5-9 and I am home almost every sat and sun. I am having trouble since I don't have any room in our garage because my parents won't sell the van. I am really interested in rebuilding my engine by myself but maybe we could do it as a group project. We can help each other. I currently own a 89 GTUs so I can be of some assistance. Um if you are interested than just poste back and I will private you my aim handle.

tune-up?

Here is what I have done in the past for my FC on a tune up:

new plugs
new oil and filter
new air element or clean the cone if that is what you have
top off or flush the coolant system (whatever it may need)
replace O2 sensor (kind of difficult)
check and top off power steering
check and top off automatic transmission fluid OR replace m/t
and diff fluid.
Give your shox a visual inspection for leaking oil.
Check tire pressure
Check and refill your brake fluid
Check and refill your clutch fluid (if you have a manual)

That is all I can think of right now.... I still feel like I'm missing something.

You may want to add:

Fuel Filter,
Inspect all intake ducting and vacuum hoses.
Check TPS.
Check all grounds.

Cleaning the injectos would be nice too.
