trying to remove the sunroof from a fc help!!
yeah after you remove the liner then its just a bunch of bolts. be carful when you take the last bolt out, that thing is heavy and awkward. it would help if you get someone to give you a hand

open the sunroof a little bit (makes it easier). there are 6 10mm bolts. remove them and the roof just lifts right off.
after the lid is removed...
the sun roof tray is a bit trickier but possible to do alone. remove the plastic A pillar trim, remove the metal clpips and runner seal around opening, remove the rear bolts (10mm), remove the electrical connections, remove all but the front 2 bolts (10mm). recline in your seat and hold one side up with your foot, remove the bolt, gently ease the tray down untill it supports its own weight then repeat on the other side.
you may need to lift it out through the hatch.

Remove the A pillar and Windshield trim.Remove the Rear view mirror/interior light assembly..Basically remove all trim associated with the headliner.Remove the trim around the Sunroof Hole..then Remove the Headliner.you will see that the Sunroof skeleton is supported by ten nuts/bolts..undo those and presto!, it is out..It IS heavy..and make sure you got a hold of it..or you will be BONKED in the head!

Oh, one more think, starfish trooper, I stay signed in on my computer at the shop, all of my employees have access to it. The guy that posted that couldn't get in touch with me all day yesterday, so he posted here. He needed to get it out to paint the sunroof jam for a color change on an FC. It too will kick your *** and I will race you for titles as well. Take your pick. Bring it on.
You've got a good start at finding friends in the upstate to hang out with.

Yup. Gimme a few minutes to load up my dollies, I got to have a way to get your car home. Also, I'm not coming all the way to Roebuck, I'll meet you in Greer.
