Trying to get car started
Hey guys I'm trying to get my car back on the road after sitting for a year. Would like to get a list up of things to check to make sure it goes smoothly. Thanks in advance for the advice.
How/was the car prepped before going into storage?
In general, I'd assume all the fluids- brake, fuel, coolant, oil- are bad and change them (along with any filters).
Check tire pressure and charge the battery.
Disable the ignition (so the car won't fire) and crank the engine to build up oil pressure.
Then go for it.

i'd make sure the car has fluids, air in the tires, etc.
charge the battery, pull the plugs, crank until you see oil pressure. put plugs back in, and start it.
then you can change the fluids, and i like to check the TPS (they go walkabout), and just generally look over the car.

Hey thanks for all the tips. The car was not really "prepped for storage ". I had an alternator belt break and before I got a chance to fix it life took over and I got caught up. I'll check all those things out.
