Trunk lid supports
Hi all, needing new trunk lid pistons for my 89 vert. What’s everyone using that’s a great fit?
Since I added a spoiler I’ve nearly been decapitated a time or two..

These are replacements. Priced each. I recommend buying both and applying some lube to the latches since they tend to get stuck. I applied white lithium grease. No issues or gunk build up. I did clean the excess.
There is also an old thread covering your question.

I have the mentioned Strongarm replacements on my coupe, and the hatch now shoots up like a rocket ship and requires two hands to close. I never knew the hatch was supposed to open unassisted until I looked into this and replaced them last year.

He has a vert...I don't pay much attention to the vert quirks but I seem to recall there being no replacements and used is his only option. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
