My "wild guess" is that The significantly wider diameter piping of the Apexi system would flow better and therefore be able to support (and create) more power in comparison to the Racing Beat...
As Ted mentioned, the Apexi GT cat-back is NOT a full 80mm piping...it starts at 65mm I believe and expands to 80+mm. The Racing Beat turbo back, on the other hand, is a full 80mm and splits to two 60 mm pipes.

Just stating facts. Exhausts have and always will be opinion. Some like how one sounds, some like how the other sounds. Some like how one looks, some like how the other looks. One claims one makes more power, someone else claims the other makes more power.

Unless some back-to-back dyno tests all these exhausts (same car, same conditions, etc.), no one will ever have a definitive answer. What it comes down to is what YOU prefer.

ok so if i do the downpipe to strait 3in pipe it will be loud but id get the most gains correct?

it will be wayyy to loud to be driven at night/streets? or is it just annoying? another thing how detremental would it be to throw a silencer in there if its TOO loud i figure once i get a ticket for it ill try to silence it....BUT...here in San Antonio i havent gotten any flack for anything emsissions or for my car at all...(just pay one of the local shops 30bucks and u got a great inspection!) will i need a stand alone OR will an R-tek be a temporary fix?

the racing beat full exhaust are actually not very loud, i was surprised, very sweet tone though, and i'm not a genius but i'm PRETTY sure a full turbo back exhaust will get more gains than a CATBACK
