Trouble At Idle...help

car has trouble at idle, well not trouble, but the rpm needle fluxuates from 1500 rpms. then drops to 500 rpms, then hops right back up or something around those numbers, nothing above, sometimes it may even staul out.......what could it be, does this happen often, thanks......if this helps the car is the 88 aniversary rx7 turbo.

make sure your BOV vacuum line and boost sensor lines are in there snug. I had to use a hoseclamp on one of those b/c it kept slipping.

this sounds exactly like what happens when the boost sensor electrical plug is disconnected, but there are probably about 6 other things to be possibly checked.

good luck

definitely sounds like a vacumm line or boost sensor problem to me, if it persists, i would look into blocking off the acv if you havent already done so. I know you have a 10AE but, you can always slap it back on.

hehe
