Taking my trans out of my s4 and took all 6 of the bellhouseing bolts out and the 6 pressure plate bolts out and tryed wiggleing the trans and it wouldnt come, tryed prying on it still wont come. Is there something else that i need to do or what is the deal

 

I didn't have any problem disconnecting the engine from the transmission, I don't see how the other way around could cause any headaches. Maybe you missed a bolt? I think mine had 5 or 6, can't remember but it's an S5 N/A.

 

In order to unmount the transmission from the engine, you need to unbolt the shift lever, starter, driveshaft, and rear crossmember bolts. The easy part is taking it out, be safe and use a transmission jack... or, DON'T, I aint yo daddy!!
