Transmission switch

Hello, im in the middle of swapping my clutch and I noticed that one wire of a switch by the shift linkage is detached. I’ve looked all over the Internet and can’t seem to find if anywhere. I definitely know for sure it isn’t the back up switch, but looks just like it (besides it having 2 wires instead of 4+)

heres what it looks like:

its a neutral switch, its there for the idle control, basically. if you can repair the wire, just do that.

the Rx7 switch is NLA, but you can use the miata one 8118-17-640B and swap the connector
