Does anyone know where I can buy a transmission rebuild kit? I have 3 transmissions and they all suck. I'd rather rebuild the 91 tranny but I have a 88 and 86 also that would work. I can't find a place to buy a kit. I don't want to pay 800+ for someone else to do it. I would rather buy a kit and do that task myself. Thanks

Well, I'm not aware of a "kit" to rebuild the trans. What you need to do is rip it apart and see what parts need replacing eg bearings, syncros, shafts, etc and purchase the necessary items. It's possible that if you take all three apart, examine all parts, you may not need too many new parts. Mazdatrix doesn't sell parts anymore.
Probably a dealer item.
