Transmission rebuild...

I blew my transmission and need to rebuild it, where can i get the gears and can i do any mods while it is apart? mods to make it stronger and faster off the line..

To "make it faster off the line": Call Rob at Pineapple Racing and have him install Miata gears in it. To make the "Synchros Stronger" have them cryogenically heat cycled.

I am currently rebuilding my tranny and got a rebuild kit and synchro kit from www.drivetrain.com . It's supposed to arrive today. Rebuild kit is about $110 and the synchro kit is either $50 or $200 depending on whether you want OEM or not. I broke my 1st-2nd clutch hub and will be going to the dealer for that part. I'll take a pic of the kit and post it later.
