Alrighty, I've been doing my homework and I've come up with my plan to swap in a 13b-RE out of the little brother Eunos Cosmo in place of my 87 N/A (i wish i could afford a 20b swap ) ...no questions there. However, I know I'll have to swap out the transmissions (weak n/a transmission vs. turbo transmission) and the transmission in there now is just a piece of crap. If I swap out the n/a transmission for the turbo transmission before the engine conversion, what can I expect to happen to the driveability of the car? Turbo transmission + N/A engine=???

IMO nothing but a stronger tranny, now when will you do the turbo swap ?

 

lower fuel economy in 5th gear. there might even be a small chance that the car would accelerate in 5th .

 

yeah that's pretty much what i expected, just a more confident/sturdy feel moving through the gears and under acceleration, hmmm acceleration in 5th would be nice oh and the turbo swap's coming most likely in early june along with my RE Amemiya wide body kit probably a little later that month buahahahahaha

 

oh yeah i forgot, i'll put up a new thread once the engine swap begins, plenty of pictures...i haven't seen a lot of pics on the 13b-RE swap so it'd be a nice addition
