Transmission mount thing....

I noticed something when I was under my car the other day, and I noticed something that didnt look right. Under the transmission cradle, there is a large bolt with a ( I think) 18mm nut on it. Well the bolt comes down about an inch or so, and has a washer on the end, but there is nothing between that washer and the tranny cradle. It seems that there should be a bushing there or something. I drew a quick pic so illistrate what Im talkin about. Should there be something there, and if so, what, a bushing?? Im thinking this could be contributing to my sometimes loose feeling driveline, anyone know? Thanks

the bolt is 17 MM. it sounds like the bushing which is normally recessed in the saddle has worn down. or the nut has loosened up. to answer your question yes there should be a bushing underneath the washer, but there is some play

The washer

type thing (about 2 inches in diameter) IS the bushing. There normally is a gap between bushing and the tranny. Don't try and put a rubber donut or the like in trying to make a bushing as you'll probably mess up the tranny mount rubber bushing that is pressed into it. I learned this lesson the hard way, so trust me on this one.
