Transmission Mount Help

I did this a few years ago on my 90 NA and dont remember a problem, but trying to install one on my 88 Turbo is giving me fits: HELP! There's the y-piece, 2 insulators and the mount piece. Whats the trick??

I have the tranny (MTX) supported, do I need to raise up further to get everything to install?

So, you're having trouble getting the the crossmember to line up with the 4 holes in the chassis? I just used a hydraulic jack to lift the end of the transmission up until I could thread the bolts in.

I kinda figured that but didn't want to f' it up. Did you tighen the Y-piece and insulators and then install the bracket, or install it as an assembly?

Bolt the mounts/crossmember to the transmission first, jack it up and then bolt it to the car.

Thanks for the reply. I'll tackle it first thing tomorrow. Getting one bolt loose killed most my day.
