Hi.

I've actually done some searching first but the symptoms don't quite line up. I have a 88 non-turbo 5-spd manual transmission that was recently rebuilt. Yesterday, I ran the engine at isle and was able to shift into and out of all the gears. Then, tonight, I shift into reverse, back out of the garage and the shifter is stuck in reverse.

There's no sign of debris, I couldn't force it into neutral, and the field repair didn't work (or at least I couldn't get enough leverage on the detent to move it.

Any suggestions on what to do next?
