hey i think my transmission needs fluid because the shifter lever is getting really hot and the trans is making a whirring sound am i right? and if i am where is the drain and fill spots at? and my one fuse for my driver lights keeps blowin (and my radio shuts off when its not blown and i turn the lights on) so its kindah weird

 

S4 tranny fill/ drain plugs are on the side of the tranny, under the car- can't miss 'em...

did the fuse start blowing after the radio was put in? the ILLUM fuse?

That is an excellent idea. I just filled mine and had a friend standing over the bonnet holding the bottle upside down with a long tube going to the filler plug. it took about 25 mins for all three bottles, he's going to hate me when i tell him about this. lol

 

thks for the tip den and yea it blew once before then was fine for awile till i put the radio then it blew all the time then i read did the wiring stoped blowing but the radio shuts off then my mom was drivin it a couple weeks later week and it blew again and im out of fuses now so i havent tried again for awhile
