Question trans/bearing problem

For a few months now, when i go to start the car i sometomes have to press the clutch in and out to start it. And when i drive it hard sometimes and come to a stop, there is a werid wobling sound. Well today right when i left the house for a minute or 2 i would hit the gas and it wouldnt accelerate. The rpms would stay the same, and then it would eventually catch. Now i know the its not the clutch slipping cause of it being bad, cause ive had the problem before on a different car. Does anyone know if this is a bearing problem?

Sounds like it may be the pilot bearing gone bad. It has happened to my car when I first bought it. I have no idea about the acceleration part of the equation though....I would have to say that it is the clutch slipping...but you obviously don't think so. Maybe something hsa been broken in the tranny itself? When did you replace the clutch last? Did you replace the pilot bearing, throwout bearing, front tranny seal, rear tranny seal, tranny fluid, and all related clutch components?

thanx lee, i was also told my someone it could be the pilot bearing, as they said they reason it may have slipped was cause of the rear seal. all the componets were replcaed and the clutch isnt that old.

You sure the clutch was replaced? If you accelerated and the car didn't move, and it was in in gear it means the cltuch is bad or the trany bad. Could be something else, how many miles on the car?
