Tranny swap- Part Two! (plus questions!)

Time spent: 2.5 hours

Removed Shifter bar
Removed remaining exhaust
Removed driveshaft
Removed remainng heat shields
Removed starter.

Pictures soon.

TIA!!
Everything is rusted to hell! A bolt is stuck on the rear dif. The nut came off, but the bolt is stuck on it. Where the driveshaft ujoints bolt to the rear dif. Tried to pound it out, now have a deformed bolt stuck to the rear dif. Pried the driveshaft off that remaining bolt. Will have to cutoff maybe or reinstall /w only 3 bolts.

Do we need to remove the torque converter nuts? I guess I may be looking at it wrong-- the torque converter is bolted to the transmission correct? So why need I do that until *after* the transmission is removed?

It seems 10* more dificult to do while the trans is in place.

Also, how do I get to the filler tube bolt. Its on the pass side of the trans half way up. The bolt faces up instead of down, which makes it nearly impossible to even reach. A socket wrench will reach the bolt, but has no turning radius, because on one side is the tranny, and the other is the underbody. I should be able to drop the tranny w/o removing the filler tube?

And one last stupid question, Can't figure out the clips on the tranny wire harnesses. I didn't look to close, or rather can't look too closely. I see about 3 from looking down from the engine compartment and 2 more by looking up from undernearth. They are all relatively dificult to get too.

Thanks for your help all!
