Tranny Swap

Ok im on the final countdown till i put my TII tranny in my NA. I have a NA S4, I have the TII tranny, tranny half of drive shaft, TII slave cylinder (not sure if i needed it but it was cheap), TII lightweight flywheel and clutch, and TII starter. Question is if i run a S4 TII flywheel do I need the corresponding shaft counter weight or is my stock NA counter weight fine? Also is there anything else anyone forsees me needing, Keep in mind im cutting the driveshaft so i dont need all the rearend stuff.

If you do not have the full TII driveshaft and rear subframe (diff, axel shafts) then you will need to custom make a driveshaft. Note that the FC driveshaft is one piece. This means the U-joints cannot be taken out like other shafts.

If you put a light flywheel on, you will need the corresponding rear counterweight to fit your light flywheel.

Okay, I found a driveshaft shop that said they can cut the TII and NA shafts in half, re-weld them and balance them. So in the end I will have a TII tranny end and NA differential end.

Yes you're going to need the slave cylinder (they're quite different) Other than that, if you have as Aaron stated you should be set to go.
